Hi everyone!
We would like to share our 2023 Nationals with you:
To place in the top 10 in the country at our Senior National debut is something we can be proud of. We are already envisioning goals to achieve for next year’s Nationals and cannot wait to be back in front of a U.S. audience. The atmosphere of a U.S. crowd was something we had missed for such a long time. The last time we were at Nationals with a crowd, was in January of 2020! This is because we missed last year’s Nationals (due to us getting sick), and the year before that was a Nationals with no spectators allowed (Covid precautions). To have that feeling of skating for a home crowd again was so special to us!
At this year’s Nationals we also had the privilege to meet skaters that we’ve looked
up to for so long and even competed alongside some! We met Jason Brown, Mariah Bell, and Maia and Alex Shibutani! We competed alongside National Champions and 4-time Olympians Madison Chock and Evan Bates! Both of us also got to interact with Madison Hubbell, Scott Moir, and Charlie White (who are now coaches for some of our competitors). To be surrounded by such talent, past and present, is such an honor.
We are so thankful for all of the amazing memories that this year's Nationals has given us!
